Dave Koz, with the influence of his mother, began his musical path as a toddler. He learned piano, dabbled with the drums and found his calling when he picked up his first saxophone. Upon graduation from UCLA, he played his first professional job with Bobby Caldwell. With support and enthusiasm from Caldwell and friend, Jeff Lorber, he branched out to pursue a solo career. He now performs worldwide enticing people from all over and of all ages to come hear his upbeat notes and pop covers. Get tickets now!

People magazine named Dave Koz one of their "50 Hottest Bachelors" in their June 2004 issue. He has earned respect and praise from music aficionados and is believed to be the latest contender for the instrumental pop saxophone throne. He proved himself to be long-standing after his self-titled 1990 release stayed on the Billboard contemporary jazz charts for 25 weeks, producing the Top Ten song "Nothing But The Radio" and the No. 1 hit "Castle of Dreams".

Dave Koz plays with fervor and passion creating music to envelope many means to showcase his talent. By 1993, Lucky Man proved to be much more than just a selling success (over 700,000 copies were sold in the U.S.). This album included the song, "Faces of the Heart," which was picked as the theme song for General Hospital, the first new theme song in over 30 years.

Koz also enjoyed a regular stint on The Arsenio Hall Show, showcasing himself by crossing over into the mainstream media. His saxophone talents are featured on the albums of many talented voices such as Celine Dion, U2, Vanessa Williams, Stevie Nicks, Julio Inglesias, and others. A significant, life-fulfilling accomplishment was his performance at the presidential inauguration for the former President Bill Clinton.
