Stan Brock was announced as, Army's 35th head coach on January 29, 2007. He's replacing his mentor, the great Bobby Ross who coached Brock in his final three NFL seasons where Brock served as co-captain for the San Diego Chargers. Brock has been an assistant coach under Ross for Army the past three years where he willed his NFL experience into Army's offensive line. Stan Brock brings a decorated 13 years of NFL experience to his debut as the head coach of this Army football team. He played 186 games for the Saints which makes him fourth in all time games played for this organization. His experience also extends to the former AFL football league where Brock coached a total of five seasons. From 1997 to 1999 Brock was the head coach of the Portland Forest Dragons and in 2000-2001 he was the head coach of the AFL Los Angeles Avengers. West Point has a lot of faith in Stan Brock as a man.
